David Buchsbaum Senior Vice President, Investment Banking

David Buchsbaum joined Dawson James as an investment banker in November 2015. He began his career as the Director of Investor Relations for Claire’s Stores, a NYSE listed fashion accessories retailer. For twelve years, Mr. Buchsbaum was a senior equity analyst covering various consumer discretionary sectors. This included positions at Southeast Research Partners, Interstate Johnson Lane and Wells Fargo where he covered large cap retailers and regularly appeared in the financial media. Mr. Buchsbaum recently helped manage the Holtzman Opportunity Fund, a shareholder activist hedge fund and private equity holdings for Jewelcor, a family office. Mr. Buchsbaum received a J.D. in law from the University of Miami and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.
